These tiers range from a basic level to individualized training programs. This is the only program that offers exactly what Rich Froning, the 4-time fittest man on earth, does every day.

2019 - OPEN Prep
Very few love performing the Open workouts for the 5 weeks of pain (especially if you repeat the workouts multiple times). But many of us do enjoy training for the Open and seeing the hard work pay off from months of preparation in the off season. For over 99% of CrossFit athletes, the goal is to attack weaknesses and move up the leaderboard or see tangible fitness gains each Open season.

This program is for individuals that want to mainly focus on preparing for the 2019 Open. This program will take 1-2 hours to complete each day. I will assist with improving overall work capacity for while still developing overall fitness. It consists of 5-6 days of training each week. This will include everything that appears in the Open each year and potential movements that could come up in future Open seasons. There will be metcons, strength, gymnastics, conditioning, etc. This program will contain a specific order of workouts, so athletes can know the order to complete the workouts and how to optimize training each day.

This program is targeted for the athlete who has not been to regionals or the games. This is for athletes that still wants to do as well as possible in the CrossFit Open or simply continue to improve every day.

Accessory Work and Warm Ups
This program that will release the accessory work and warm ups Rich uses each day to prepare for workouts and to supplement his training. We are all realizing more and more how important an effective warm up is and how applying accessory work can pay dividends and truly benefit our training. Everything in this program is already in the “What’s Rich Doing” program. This is for those NOT following WRD that need help with warm ups or accessory work.
Is this for me?
• These warm ups and the accessory work are for all kinds of athletes.
• There will be 6 days of programming each week
Most accessory work/accessory work take 10-20 minutes to complete. The programming each day can be used in 1 of 2 ways (warm ups before you work out or accessory work for post-workout).
1. As warm ups, they can be utilized to keep you moving and help prepare the body to move at a high intensity or begin working up to heavy loads.
2. As accessory work, it can be utilized to supplement your training and strengthen movement in a controlled and deliberate fashion which can translate to better movement, addressing deficiencies, and improving fitness.

Conditioning Bias (April 2, 2018 Start Date)
This Conditioning Bias uses intervals, metcons, rowing, assault bike/airdyne, running, swimming, and more to build a bigger “engine” the same way Rich has. These individuals struggle with longer workouts or need to work on metabolic conditioning as a whole.

Freedom Women Training
This program is going to give the inside look into what the women of the CrossFit Mayhem Freedom team are doing for training every day. It will offer the female’s standard weights to be used, the female standard for the movements as well as the scaled amount of reps if needed. The program will also provide the adapted and alternate versions of workouts that are safer and more comfortable for those who experience back pain or have lower back issues.  Even if  you don't have back issues, the extra core work will assist to gain extra support and stability for the core and spine.

Gymnastic Bias
This Gymnastic Bias uses EMOMs, metcons, skill work, practice, and more to improve efficiency and overall success  the same way Rich does. The Gymnastic Bias is designed for individuals who struggle with gymnastic movements like handstand push ups, muscle ups, chest to bar pull ups, etc. This Bias will work on improving proficiency in each of the movements as well as being able to complete high reps at each.

Mayhem 60
For many of us, time is the most valuable resource we have. We understand enjoying working out and wanting to be active, but only having so much time to do so because of greater commitments and priorities like spending time with our families, working full time jobs, etc. This is why we are providing Mayhem 60.

We want to offer a program for individuals that have less time to train and/or have limited equipment. This program is for anyone that workouts regularly and has just an hour to train each day. It will assist with improving overall work capacity for while still developing overall fitness. It will include a warm up, workout, and cool down with each minute laid out so you can get in and out of the gym in a timely manner.

It consists of 5 days of training each week.
The ONLY equipment you will need to this program regularly:

Barbell
Bumber Plates (45s-35s-25s-15s-10s-5s)
Box
Jump Rope
Pull Up Bar
Dumbbells (20s-35s-50s. If you have just one set, you can make due.)
Kettlebell (35-53-70. If you have just one, you can make due.)
Rings, Medball (20/14)
Rack (only for heavy squats/presses)
What should I do ff I am handling this program well and want more of a challenge?

What should I do this program is too advanced or I don’t have all the equipment needed?

You would be would probably really enjoy M30! It requires no equipment and is only 30 minutes a day of body weight exercises.
What should I do if I am handling the program well but have one area of weakness (like strength, gymnastics, or conditioning)?

Check out one of our bias programs to attack those weaknesses!

Mayhem Compete
The Mayhem Competitor program will prepare you for the open and regionals. Hundreds have seen success following “Whats Rich Doing” but some take time to adjust to the volume, high level gymnastics, or heavy loading. The Mayhem Competitors program takes a step back to focus on skill development, strength development, and engine building. While Mayhem Open Prep will also prepare you for the Open, this program will be more advanced and take more training time each day than Mayhem Open Prep typically does. This program will usually take around 2-3 hours to complete each day. This program is for the athlete that has competed in multiple Open seasons. This athlete wants to improve their open performance and/or make regionals.

Mayhem Masters
The Mayhem Masters Program will prepare Masters Athletes (ages 35 to 70) for the Open, Masters Qualifier, and CrossFit Games Masters Division. Like the Mayhem Competitors, Mayhem Masters will take a step back to focus on skill development, strength development, and engine building. The main difference is the Mayhem Masters will scale back some of the loading and volume to allow the recovery that Masters athletes need.

Strength Bias (April 2,2018 Start Date)
This Strength Bias will focus on building strength the way Rich has throughout his CrossFit career. It will focus on improvements in the Olympic and Power Lifts as well as cycling heavy weights in a variety of ways.
